Okay, so here's the plan.
I've been talking with schools lately, and I think a solid plan is forming. I'm going to take classes online while I'm still in the army. That will allow me, first of all, to complete my AA in Arabic, for which only completion of a science course remains. At the same time, I'm going to get an associate's in something else; my current leaning is web design because I've been wanting to learn some of that anyway, and it seems ideally suited to online learning. I can do all of this easily in less than a year. I work night shift, so there's nothing better for me to do on my days off than to do school, so it's perfect. After that it should be even easier to get into PSU (or wherever else, if I've changed my mind), and either way I'll have two associate's degrees.
One more thing: I'm starting to really like the idea of running a puzzle hunt here. I'm planning to spend a few weeks on planning and promoting it and then start it up the last week of May, so if you want to get involved or know people who might, you have some time. Let me know if you're interested.

@StewieIsMyHero - Better luck next time, eh? lol
Haha, indeed.
Hey BFF! Howdy?
Good luck with your plans. I hope you achieve your goals. And I just wanna comment again on your overall site design. I love it to the bones.
PSU as in Penn State?
Kudos to you for continuing to pursue your dreams!
I would so be in..but i realy suck at puzzle
@TheCheshireGrins - No, Portland State. Penn State is a great school and all, but I don't think I could get it, haha.
Puzzle hunt? How puzzling?
im down with the puzzle hunt ill add you
by allowing yourself multiple degrees, you pretty much open up more and more avenues of choice in the long run. good move in my opinion. i surely benefitted from it after graduating.
as for your comment on my blog - i can understand your views for sure. i think my problems come more from a user end than from a xanga end of things. i think a lot of people abuse the rec feature. in theory its a solid feature, but when people misuse it, it ends up being something people ignore. and yes, ill admit i like the reply feature at times. other times im less happy with it. i guess im just moody at times. ive just personally felt a bit disconnected with xanga as time has passed.
What a puzzle that is!
